Counseling at The Center

Beginning February 1, 2007, a counseling center opened at The Center. This counseling center was established to service the community as well as BridgeWay members. The purpose of the counseling center is to provide individuals and families a place to work through issues affecting their lives with a Biblical perspective. The counseling center will offer services in marriage and family counseling, individual counseling, parenting, teen issues as well as specialized groups and classes.

Counseling at the Center is provided by Mike Danchak. Mike is a Licensed Professional Counselor. He is also a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has been in ministry and counseling for over 25 years. Mike is dedicated to helping his clients work through issues, resolve conflicts and find peace in their lives by focusing on God's power to heal the heart.

For information about the counseling center or to schedule an appointment, please contact Mike at (469) 235-3361. Appointments are available daytime, evenings and some Saturday hours.

Grief Recovery

BridgeWay periodically offers Grief Recovery meetings at 7 p.m. in room 7 of The Center. The group meets each week for six weeks. Roddy and Martha Holmes lead this group. They have extensive experience in leading this group, which is designed for anyone dealing with grief of any kind. Losses due to death, divorce, serious illness, and other wounds create a sense of grief in our lives. Pre-registration is encouraged but not required. Grief Recovery Class has concluded for this year. They will begin a new session on Thursday, January 8th. If you want more information, contact Rista Nichols in the church office at 972-317-9500.
